The most significant astronomical event of 1997 may turn out to be Comet Hale-Bopp, peaking in brightness at the end of March. There were some significant astrological

alignments before the comet peaked in 1997: in January a Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, in February a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, and in February there was a grouping of planets in Aquarius: the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus.

What does this mean for us? This could mean the appearance of a miracle-worker on the world scene in 1997. I am expecting President Clinton to be doing some miraculous things on the world scene during the rest of 1997, bringing peace and bringing the world through crisis. The man from Hope bringing hope to the world. There could also be someone else, a miracle-worker, who appears on the world scene. A comet is like an angel of light in the sky, and that is what we may see on the world scene-- an angel of light, a miracle-worker. As Comet Hale-Bopp becomes dimmer and heads toward the South Pole in the second half of 1997, the world will increasingly come under the "Southern Cross" influence, a positive influence that began in 1987 with the Southern Hemisphere Supernova. The Southern Cross influence resulted in positive change in the Southern Hemisphere, with democracy coming to South American countries, and positive change coming to South Africa.

This is a transformative period for the world, which will continue for the rest of this decade-- Hope will come from the Southern Hemisphere, while the Northern Hemisphere is in for serious problems.

The shadow of Whitewater may still follow the Clinton administration and grow larger during the rest of 1997; those pursueing this issue are very determined.

Russia I think will show continued instability, and increasingly head in the direction of dictatorship and could turn increasingly unfriendly towards the West. There could be serious problems in Russia at the end of 1997, in December, especially at the time of the December 8 lunar occultation of Saturn (the moon passes in front of Saturn). There could be an increasingly evil influence speading over the Northern Hemisphere in the second half of this year, and some of that will result from Russia. This also relates to a very evil influence that may appear in 1998-- note that 1998=666x3, and 666 is considered to be a Satanic number.

I think the U. S. and world economies will continue to do well in 1997. And the unusual weather (floods, hurricanes, powerful storms, etc.) will increasingly become a problem.
