|As a young girl and woman, she was known to have a keen sense of humor and loved to laugh. Prince Albert had a sobering affect on her personality. She was a fine artist, having done many drawings and paintings. Forgiving, honest, and devoted to her family. Champion of the underdog. Unorthodox but patriotic. She went into a deep depression after the death of Prince Albert that lasted 40 years. She also suffered a nervous breakdown after the death of her mother.
|Her father, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, died when she was one month old.
