Wanted her sons to grow up with an understanding of what the average person has to deal with everyday. Groomed her son William to be a "modern" king -- one who is warm and sensitive and in touch with his people. |

| Her mother had an affair and abandoned Diana and her siblings. Diana grew up feeling unloved and unworthy. Later, after marrying Prince Charles, his lack of love and attention brought her to a state of mind that resulted in bulimia and attempts at suicide. They were later divorced and she went on to create a place for herself in the world's eye with her good deeds for charity, the ill, and the victims of war. Her death by a fatal car crash on Aug 31, 1997 came at a time where she felt she had found true love with Dodi AlFayed, son of the owner of Harrod's Department Store. |
